Direct replacement for PGT 750 Series French Door, Active Multi-Point Lock Replacement
Concealed Multi-Point Lock Specifications:
- 60mm backset – 2 3/8″ from edge of door to center of handle.
- 92mm (3 5/.8″) center of handle to center of thumbturn
- 5/16″ coupling for threaded rod connection and top and bottom lock points.
- Lock DOES NOT come with exterior mounted faceplate.
- 3/8″ standoff – Lock standoff is the 3/8″ short standoff version used on PGT 750 Series
- Stainless steel construction

This mortise lock is used exclusively on PGT Doors and has 5/16-18 Coupling Thread:
To Replace lock ,the stile edge plate needs to be removed.

How to Operate Lock:
1. Lift handle to Extend vertical shootbolt rods
2. Turn Key or Thumbturn to extend deadbolt and secure rods in locked position
3. Reverse process to unlock door.
Operation of Lock: Baby Sitter function
This lock can be used in 2 different ways
1. When the door is closed the deadbolt can be thrown without lifting the door lever and used as a standard deadbolt lock.
When the handle is lifted the shootbolts will extend and will not retract until after the deadbolt is unlocked.
It is not necessary to use the locking rods unless desired
2. The lever can be lifted to engage the concealed rods and then throw the deadbolt.
to unlock door, retract deadbolt with key or Thumb turn, then push down on lever to retract rods and open door.
Change Handing:
1. Insert screw driver into slot behind latch
2. Pull down on handing release, latch pops out
3. Rotate latch and push back into lock case
