Hoppe Lock Gear Box Backset Measurement

The “BACKSET” measurement is the measurement from the center of the door handle post – to – the edge of the door where the lock strip is machined flush into the door panel.

MEASURE ACCURATELY  – Hoppe ONLY provides (4) Backset Options.  Choose Below.

This illustrates the proper way to measure an HLS-9000 backset on a Hoppe Multipoint door lock.

****** NOTE *****  All ” IN STOCK” Gear Boxes have a  1″ Dead Bolt Throw.  WE DO NOT STOCK 1/2″ DEAD BOLT VERSIONS. We Feel a 1″ Deadbolt is more secure.

Check to see if you have or can drill out the depth to accommodate a  ONE INCH DEAD BOLT.

THE DEAD BOLT MUST BE ABLE TO EXTEND FULLY WITHOUT INTERRUPTION..
